Alma, Mich. - The Alma College STUNT team won both its games on Sunday (Feb. 16), defeating Ferris State University 21-0 and Michigan State University 14-10. The two games were part of eight that Alma as part of its first STUNT tournament of the year.
The Scots and Spartans were tied at seven heading into the fourth quarter. Michigan State chose routine four to begin the fourth and Alma won all three points in the routine. It secured the win in the second round by scoring two points in the sixth routine. Alma earned four points in the sixth routine over the course of its game against MSU.
Alma had no trouble against the Bulldogs in its first game of the day. The Scots earned all 21 points, doing so in every one of the first four routines.
Alma will travel to St. Louis, Mo., for the Fontbonne University STUNT Tournament. The Scots will compete against Oklahoma City University and Oklahoma Baptist University on Saturday (Feb. 22) and Maryville University and Southwest Baptist University on Sunday (Feb. 23).
