Down by as many as six in the opening set, the Scots stormed back to tie the game at 22 before allowing the Storm to score the next three points.
Alma didn't leave anything to chance in the next three sets as it went on runs of 11-4, 6-0, and 7-2 to pull away from Simpson in each set. It finished the match with a kill from McKenzie Smith (Caro, Mich. / Caro High School) and an ace from Majerle.
