Kodi Stone will enter his 2nd season as an Assistant Swimming and Diving Coach at Alma College in the fall of 2026. Stone serves as the Scots lead diving coach on staff.
The 2025-26 season saw Alma finish 4th on both the men's and the women's sides, marking the first time since the 1999-00 season that Alma placed 4th in both genders. Lily Smith won the Senoir Impact Award, and a flurry of all-time top ten entries was highlighted by Brent Riehl on the men's side, who set new records in the 100 and 200 breaststroke. Alma also fielded divers for the first time in nearly a decade, with action on the board led by Abigail Dumond. The freshman was an NCAA Regional Qualifier, and placed top 3 on Alma's all-time top ten in both the six and 11 dive disciplines on the three-meter board. Alma's men made history in dual meet action on multiple fronts, defeating Kalamazoo for the first time in the program's 55-year history, and posting a dual meet record of 4-3. It marks the first time since the 1978-79 season that men's swimming finished dual meet action with a winning record.
Stone joins the Scots after graduating from Division III Manchester University in the Spring of 2025. While at Manchester, Stone was a four-year member of the swimming and diving program, and competed on the men's soccer team for one year. As a Spartan, Stone placed 3rd in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) to claim All-HCAC Honorable Mention recognition. He was also a member of both the Fall and Spring CSCAA Scholar All-American teams, and was a member of the 2021-22 Chris N. Ragsdale HCAC All-Sportsmanship team.
Stone graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History, and Bachelor of Science in Educational Studies from Manchester University in 2025, and currently resides on campus at Alma.
